The Christus St. John Hospital has begun a $7 million expansion/revamp into Nassau Bay, Texas. This adds more than 20,000 sq. ft. to the hospital’s emergency care, etc.
Cosentino North America, a Houston-based countertop maker, has hired Candice Olson as national spokesperson. Candice’s claim to fame is HGTV. Why? As reported by Houston Business Journal, “Candice brings in-depth knowledge of interior design and an engaging personality to her role as national spokesperson for Silestone — qualities that will generate valuable consumer awareness”
“Continental Airlines Inc. was one of only three major U.S. airlines to add workers in March, according to a report Tuesday from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.” (reported by the Houston Business Journal) The had nearly 3,000 more employees in March 2007 than in March 2006.
